Fort Bend MUD #131 Board will operate with transparency, integrity, and responsibly. We will maintain our water, wastewater, and recreational facilities in a manner that meets or exceeds regulatory requirements and provides adequate and reliable capacity for District needs. We will operate the District in a manner that protects the public health, ensures the financial stability of the District, and benefits the community.

Pedestrian Safety Improvement Project

Project Description

Fort Bend County MUD No. 131, in conjunction with Fort Bend County Precinct 2 Commissioner’s office, is moving into construction for additional pedestrian safety measures for access to the District’s recreation center in regards to crossing Southern Colony Avenue. The improvements will consist of additional sidewalk ramps at the intersection of Volute Drive and Southern Colony Avenue and Noontide Trail and Southern Colony Avenue. The improvements will also include crosswalk striping and signage, as well as a roundabout at the Noontide Trail and Southern Colony Avenue intersection. The construction is anticipated to last from Early-August through September. There should be minimal disruption to the existing sidewalks and access on Southern Colony Avenue during the construction.
