Board Meetings

The District generally meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Even month meetings will be held at the 5th Street Community Center, 3110 5th Street, Stafford, Texas 77477 at 6:00 p.m., and odd month meetings will be held at Tax Tech, 12841 Capricorn Street, Stafford, Texas 77477 at 12:00 p.m. These are public meetings, and residents are welcome to attend. While specific addresses are provided, circumstances may necessitate changes to the location. Please refer to the most recent agenda to confirm the accurate address.

The District does have occasional special meetings at designated meeting places inside the boundaries of the District. Residents of the District have the right to request the designation of a meeting location within the District under Water Code Section 49.062(g). A description of this process can be found at: www.tceq.texas.gov/waterdistricts.

If no suitable meeting place exists inside the District, the Board may designate a meeting place outside the District that is located not further than 10 miles from the boundary of the District. If the Board of Directors fails to designate a meeting place within the district or not further than 10 miles from the boundary of the District, after the receipt of such petition, five registered voters may petition the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to designate a meeting location.
