Please be advised that the Board convened on September 23, 2025, and approved an update to the Rate Order pertaining to water services.
The modifications to the Rate Order stipulate the following:
Section 18: Billing & Termination
- Service Termination: Services shall be terminated 30 days after the due date of any unpaid statement.
- Service Reinstatement: Services will not be reinstated until the account is brought current, including full payment of all past due balances, applicable late fees, and the current balance owed.
- Letter Fees: Letter fees added to an account if a notice of disconnect is mailed to an account holder has been increased from $15.00 to $50.00.
Section 21: Security Deposit
- New Account Security Deposit: Each customer establishing a new account for single-family residential service shall be required to remit a security deposit. Property owners will be required to pay $150, while non-property owners will be required to pay $300.
- Delinquent Accounts: Accounts that become 30 days delinquent shall be required to maintain a minimum deposit of $150. Customers must either provide an initial deposit of $150 or supplement their existing deposit to meet this minimum requirement.
- Service Reconnection Fee: Services that are subject to reconnection will incur a $150 reconnection fee to restore service.
